WARS.ZIP

Replacement Mouse pointers for OS/2 Warp 3.

Turn your mouse pointer into an X-Wing, or a TIE Fighter!

Installation:

  1. Unzip the WARS.ZIP file. XWING.ZIP, and TIE.ZIP are included in the
      archive

  2. Create subdirectories \OS2\POINTERS\XWING and \OS2\POINTERS\TIE on your
      OS/2 Warp Boot drive.

  3. Unzip the XWING.ZIP file into the \OS2\POINTERS\XWING subdirectory
and the TIE.ZIP file into the \OS2\POINTERS\TIE subdirectory

  4. Open the Mouse object in the System Setup folder found in the OS/2
System Desktop folder, or, bring up the Desktop's pop-up menu and
select the System Setup menu item, then, open the Mouse object.

  5. Go to the Pointers Tab of the Mouse setup notebook

  6. Push the Load-Set button. You should now get a list box that will show
the default OS/2 Pointer sets, plus, the new pointer sets (XWING and
TIE) that you just installed. Select any set you wish by double
      clicking on it.

  7. Close the Mouse setup notebook to have your change take effect.

  8. Repeat steps 4 thorugh 7 to change the pointers back at any time.

This is FREEWARE, meaning that you can use this, modify this, and basically
do whatever you want with this absolutely FREE! All I ask is that if you
enjoy these pointers, drop me a line! There are several ways to do this:

(*BEST WAY*) Call my BBS, Thyme. The number is (719) 536-9675. It only
supports up to 14.4 at the moment, but I hope to go 28.8 soon!

or Send me mail on the Internet. My address is math@usa.net. Be sure to
title the message "Marty" so that I'll know it's for me (don't ask, just
   do it!)

or E-mail me over WWIVnet. I'm 1@11751!

or Fly over Colorado Springs and drop a bunch of flyers!

or Send me a smoke signal!

or Say hi to me on national TV!

Oh, By the way, you made an excellent choice when you picked up OS/2 Warp.
it is absolutely, by far the best GUI available!

                                        Sincerely,

                                        Bryan "Spooky" Hodges
